Yes - give them a pseudo Ip addres and it should work, trouble will be
that noone will be able to fetch the items.
Note that under the URI spec, you can define your own name-space, by
picking
something before th4e colon - but only do this with great care, since
client software needs to hardcode access for every access-method.
