Would there be any support for adding an FSP protocol type to the
current internet draft on URLs ?

FSP is a protocol, a bit like FTP (but see below), for moving
files around. It's designed for anonymous archives, and has
protection against server and network overloading. It doesn't
use connections, so it can survive things falling over.
Quote: `FSP is what anonymous FTP *should* be'.

FSP currently exists in the form of a number of interoperable
implementations for Unix, VMS, OS/2 and MS-DOS. See the newsgroup
or the fsp-discussion mailing list for more info.
I'm thinking of addresses in the form
<fsp://host.name.or.ip.addr:port_number/direct/ories/file>
when referring to FSP-able objects, e.g.
<fsp://genie.lut.ac.uk:21/murf/README>
There's no "formal" description of the protocol that I'm aware
of (source code should be enough, right? ;-) but if necessary
an RFC describing it could probably be put together pretty
quickly.
Any comments ?
