You raise some interesting points and I think you have make a
strong and persuasive argument. I will need to consider some of the finer
issues, but I think you have convinced me that there is a greater good
served by your vision.
My sin is ascribing far too much function to this thing called a
"URN" when it serves a higher purpose. The retrieval function is then not
a characteristic of the URN, but of those services which utilize it.
"It is not money. It is a piece of paper." -- The value of the
thing is in its use, not in the thing itself. I confused the thing with
its use.
