Chris,
To clarify, I've heard it expressed by others that the centroids
structure hasnt been shown to be scalable yet - especially for the case of
widely varying data.
We are betting a lot on an unproven structure if we think that a single,
meshed centroid service will allow us to look up *any* URN.
We know that other schems (such as coding the location of the resolver as part
of the authority id) will scale.
