This looks good to me Mark,
Do I understand you correctly that these are fixed fields, i.e. if sending
back G+ stuff and no search string then the client turns a double tab
URL e.g.
gopher://path.net:8001/11/About%09%09+Text/plain
into a single tab to send.
I also presume, since these are fixed fields, that a client can look at a
URL, and add a search string if its type 7.
For example the pointer to a wais search might be
gopher://path.net/77/.wais-sources/weather%09%09
and then the client, figures out it wants the weather here and passes it
on as
gopher://path.net/7/7/.wais-sources/weather%09san%20francisco%09
(also - I presume the trailing %09 are optional?)
Just to make sure we are all understanding this the same way.
