I'm sorry if this has already been discussed and put aside,
but I'm wondering what the advantage of relative URLs are.
I can see that they save some space and so on, but they seem
to complicate things a lot, as the context must be understood.

This strikes me off-hand as a significant extra complexity,
so I'm wondering what the advantage is to offset this
complexity.
