Currently mosaic does not use the .netrc file like the way ftp does.
Or Is there a way to make mosaic ftp using a given username & passwd
for file URLs. If this logic does not exist with the present code
I think it would be a good idea to implement this feature since there
are servers which would like to restrict ftp access thru user name and
password. Doing ftp always with "USER anonymous" seems to be highly
restrictive. In a organisational environment like Sybase, we would like
to share information but we would want people to use their username and
passwd to get into our machines.
Offcourse I could hack up mosaic code here to do this .But it would be a
good idea to put this in the distribution code.
