The Virtual Reality Behavior System (VRBS)

San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC)

Introduction

VRBS (pronounced "verbs") is a VRML behavior scripting system prototype developed by the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC). This system is proposed as the basis of behavior support within VRML.

SDSC's VRML work is centered around the development of an experimental VRML browser WebView. Source code for WebView is available for version 1.0 beta, which does not include VRBS support. Version 1.1 beta, which will include VRBS support is expected to be released in early October.

VRBS has been discussed in two papers to be presented at VRML 95 in December:
